Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Week 184: Red & White - Sami Stamps

Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous themed challenge over at Glitter N Sparkle.

This week we have some amazing sponsors and my chosen sponsor is Sami Stamps

I just love their images and have purchased several of them.

So which image did I chose?
Well I got this gorgeous design:

So the theme set is Red & White

And here is what I have created:
I kept it simple as I think it looks more effective.
I coloured the image with Promarkers: Lipstick Red, Berry & Poppy for the dress,
Skin: Blush, Saffron & Pastel Pink
Hair: Primrose, Pastel Yellow & Mustard
Flowers: Crimson
I have used the Promarker blender pen to add shading to the dress.

The backing is a gorgeous Red Polka dot card stock from Anna-Marie Designs purchased at the NEC and I have used a Stamp Set by Stampin Up for the sentiment in the top corner.
White satin ribbon tied in the corner and then I have added red & white pearls to add final details.

I love this image and have coloured it in a few other colours too ready to make more cards.
I hope you like the image and will pop over to take a look at Sami Stamps or pop over to Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog to take part in the Red & White challenge theme.

Happy Crafting

Week #180 Anything Goes Challenge on the Glitter n Sparkle Blog

Good Morning and on this lovely first day of spring, we  have the sun shining and the birds tweeting away whilst I'm sat in my work room.

This week is the Anything Goes week over on the Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog and this week I was given a Lacy Sunshine Digital Image - called Flower Bed Fred Gnome and he is super cute and very fitting this morning as it's the First day of Spring.
And here he is:
Isn't he cute? Such a fun image to colour too. I used something a bit different for me this time and used Pastel Pencils, I bought these pencils from a local Anime Art Shop and I have to say it's a lovely change to use something else to colour with. They are called Bruynzeel Design Pastel Pencils - 12 in a box.
Great for smudging and they have given a lovely effect with the a shading.
It was screaming out for fun bright colours, so I continued this on with the card colours too.
I decided to try a gatefold card today and the card was precut by Lime Tree Craft and it was just a case of finding the folding points and off we go. The Lemon card stock is also by Limetree Craft and the Citrus green polka dots is by Anna Marie Designs.
I have used a Stampin Up trio of flowers punch and used off cuts to cut them out. I have tied a sage green ribbon to hold the card shut and finished with tiny pearls on the flowers for effect.

Love this Gnome image - great fun to use and Lacy Sunshine are a fabulous Digital stamp company.

If you would like to be in with a chance to win some digital images from any of our sponsors this week then pop over to the Glitter N Sparkle Challenge blog page and find out how to play along and to add your creations.
Lots of Look and Happy Spring to you all.

Monday evening fun

Good Evening to everyone :)
Some areas of the UK are heavily under water and it's such a shame with only a few weeks to go until Christmas.
Wishing all my crafty friends in those areas well and stay safe.

I have been working on stock for shows and also finishing off the last few orders for Christmas over the last few days.
Here is a Girlie card I have made this evening.
It is made using a gorgeous Saturated Canary Image

Lighting isn't great this evening unfortunately :(
I have coloured her with Letraset Promarkers and added Dovecraft Glitter glue onto some elements of the image.
The backing elements are:
Pink Polka dot is by Anne-Marie Designs
Winter wonderland sheet is by Kanban Crafts - Available from Aspire Crafts.co.uk
Glitter Pink Tape is from Express Your Shelves craft shop

I little of pink glitter at the festive time.
Have a great week

Blimey, it's Sunday again already and Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Week 162 is here with it's fabulous prizes up for grabs from the amazing SLS Line designsThe Stamping Boutique & finally Morgan's Artworld.

I was lucky enough to get to choose an image from Morgan's Artworld and my choice just had to be The cat in the flower garden digital image.

Here is my creation with the theme of Something red, with Remembrance Day just around the
corner I decided to purely pick the flowers from the digi to colour as they look like poppies too.

The backing polka dot cardstock is from Anna Marie Designs and the black/grey pearl paper stock is from Crafty Queens Crafts from Facebook. The buttons are from my personal stash and the Polka dot ribbon is from Meiflower Ribbons.

I have zoomed in on one of the trio of images to explain the colours used.

Letraset Promarkers:
Tiny daisy like flowers were shaded with Lipstick red
Poppies - Berry red, Poppy Red & Cool Grey 5
Larger daisies - Ruby Red with Yellow centres.

So there is my inspiration for you for this weeks challenge, to submit your entry just pop over to Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog add your link to your work to be in with a chance of winning some great digi images for your collection.
