Couple in love - Anniversary card ideas

I am trying to make a big push with blogging and entering some challenges and I have to say I love Sami Stamps so when I saw that they were hosting a fabulous challenge with a theme of 'Add pearls or Beads' I thought ooh why not have a go and submit an entry, so here it is:

I coloured the image using Letraset promarkers and went with an older couple
I coloured their hair in shades of cool greys and warm grey's
Skin is Blush, Saffron and Pastel Pink
The lady's dress is done with Marsh Green & Olive Green
The gentleman's attire is Grey green for the jumper and then beige on the trousers.

The backings are from my off cuts box and I have cut the pennant shapes out for added detail on the cards. The sentiment is a Woodware stamp set from Truly Inspired Crafts called Jane's Script.
I have added some pearls to finish the card.

Love the digital images by Sami Stamps and I would love to win some new images, so I've got my fingers crossed :)

Thanks for looking

Week #179 Glitter n Sparkle - Something in Green theme - Make it Crafty Image

Good Morning and welcome to another great challenge over at Glitter n Sparkle challenge Blog

This week we have some amazing sponsors and one of those is the brilliant

I was lucky to have a choice from their website and went with Urban Keisha
and here is the card that I designed.

Urban Keisha has been coloured using various shades of Promarkers
Moss, Olive Green, Lime Zest, Lime Twist, Marsh Green & Khaki
Were my green elements for my theme
Skin is done with Blush, Saffron and Pastel Pink
Hair is done with Burnt Sienna, Cinnamon & Sandstone

The backing ground was done using a Backing card from Kanban Crafts - Street scene. I used also used Woodware Craft Collections Urban Graffiti set ( available from Truly Inspired Crafts) which I have coloured with Dovecraft metallic pens.
I kept the rest simple and just layered on black matting panel and then on to an A5 card blank.

Love this image and the collection of Urban Streets by Make it Crafty is awesome and they have several other designs too.

Hope you liked my project and that you will pop over to the Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog and have a go at winning so great prizes.

Challenge #177 - 28 Feb - Things With Wings (Knight Owl - Sparkle N Sprinkle)

Good Morning everyone :)
It's been a funny old week and lots happening which has caused me to have to rethink things a bit.

But on a more positive note it's challenge week again over at Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog and this weeks theme is:
'Things with Wings'

I was lucky enough this week to get a choice from the brilliant Sparkle & Sprinkle.

Here is the card I have made

Colours used for this one were:
Letraset Flex Markers:
CG02, CG03 & CG04
Copic:
B29, B24, E39, E35, E37, E33, E29 & E11
Y17, Y06, YG06, YG03 & R29

Backings for the card are Kanban Crafts - Blue Gingham Card stock, and a Sky effect Card stock also from Kanban Crafts.
Finished with a Ribbon by Meiflower and the sentiment is a Stamp by Woodware Craft Colelction Available from Truly Inspired Crafts

This is such a fun image and the set that it comes with is brilliant as it has sentiments and an already coloured version of the owl for those not confident to colour it themselves.

For your chance to win some Sparkle n Sprinkle goodies then pop over to the Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog and add your entry to the links.
Wishing you lots of luck and thanks for stopping by

Challenge # 176 Anything Goes week this week - Crafty Sentiments Image A gentle touch

Good Morning wow another week come and gone and it's been a busy one, I have launched my own Craft supplies business online Truly Inspired Crafts and it's been the school Half term holiday so rather manic here in my house :)

Now this week's challenge is 'Anything Goes' over at Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog which on these weeks is always super busy with all your amazing makes.

I was lucky enough to get an image by craftysentimentsdesigns and got one called 'A Gentle Touch'

Here is the image and information on how I did it.

Now I printed this image 3 times and tried a few different techniques but this is the one I went for, I wanted to something a bit different rather than just colour them in so I got the Fluffy Stuff out and added it on. This stuff is amazing as it a wet glue like texture when you apply it but when you add heat to it it turns fluffy and bumpy as you can see from the picture it works great for textured bears. Fluffy Stuff is available in White, Brown & green over at Truly Inspired Crafts.

Here is the finished card I designed using Crafty Sentiment Designs 'A gentle Touch' Image,
Papers were from my left overs basket
Ribbon is from Truly Inspired Crafts

I hope you can join in the 'Anything Goes' challenge week over at Glitter n Sparkle Blog and be in with a chance of winning some of our amazing sponsors images,
Lots of Crafty Hugs
