Christmas Gift Voucher Cards

I was asked the other day to make some gift vouchers for my Brother in laws girlfriend, he'd got 4 ideas - 2 for christmas and 2 for her birthday.
So he gave me the 4 vouchers and here's my designs.

This brief was a voucher for tickets to the Hippodrome, so I decided to make the card into a Theatre stage with props and actors. I have to say I'm really pleased with how this turned out.

This voucher is for a Nail Appointment so I went for pink and girly.

This is for 2 tickets to Wicked at the London Victoria Theatre. So I couldn't resist using my witch Tilda.

And the last one if for a shopping trip and I used Craftwork Cards backing papers and kept it really simple so she can see the words.
Fingers crossed they will all be liked.

The Sugar Bowl - Marlene's Sketch

I thought I'd get back into submitting some blog challanges and I decided I'd start with The Sugar Bowl challange first. The very talented Marlene has set a Sketch for us to follow and the other instructions were Black, white & .... So I chose Green.
Here is my Card design

I have used some Docraft Patterened papers with black ornate patterns and matted them with white & Black card stock. The image is a Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girl with her Cat (being a cat lover I couldn't resist using this stamp again). I have coloured with my Promarkers and added a Green flatbacked pearl on kitty's collar.

You can also join in the fun over at the Sugar Bowl by following this link

The Prize is a whole collection of 'Alice' stamps by Leanne Ellis & also a set of Spellbinders Scallop Square nesties.
Fingers crossed I need all of these items. Lets hope you like it girls!
Thanks
Tracey

Special Occasions

This weekend was a big family weekend for us as we were at a Wedding and there are several birthdays coming up this week.
The first card I have to show you is the wedding card. As you might be able to see the Groom is a Aston Villa fan so I tried to incorporate that in the design as well as bare in mind that Sarah (Bride) who is a graphic designer so I wanted to add some design details and textures. Hope they like it.
Now this next card is for my nephew Zane who is 3 this week. He is a mad football fan but I wanted to do something different for him so I decided to do a Pirate theme instead. I used Magnolia Pirate Edwin and coloured him with Promarkers. I had a Pirate ship stamp which I then distressed with Distress Ink and Used a Chipboard letter to finish.
Happy Birthday Zane. xxx

And Happy Crafting Everybody

Here's some new Magnolia Toppers

Fairydust Tilda coloured in shades of Pink she looked so cute and I was working on Christmas toppers so i popped her onto a Christmas Magnolia scene that I had and layered with pink backing papers. To finish I used an old earring which I took the hook off and fixed with a jump ring and tied in with ribbon.

Here's Tilda holding a ladybird. I wanted to make this into a birthday topper so I used EK Success Cupcake border punch and themed the backing paper and embellishments from the colours I had used to colour Tilda in with.

I love the fairydust Tilda she is so cute I sold her on though( whoops) but stamped some images so I have to go sparingly but here's a new topper I have made. I have used glittery backing paper and my nesties to cut the circle out.

Hope you like them
