A A4 Kanban Mother's Day Card

Using the Lavender Rose Elements Topper sheet, Bouquet Swirls Lilac card stock & Flamenco Blue Card stock.

I have layered the background card and then using the elements I have created a 3d frame in the corners with the flowers and butterflies and then the alternate corners I have used the stunning bird cages and birds. All finished with a die cut panel and worlding and some lovely pearls to finish.
Thanks for looking

Mother's day is just around the corner

Wow, the weather isn't so good today where has that spring weather disappeared too? It's my 15th Anniversary today but he is at work and kids at school so I have plenty of time to show you some cards I have been creating whilst thinking about Mother's Day designs.

Colour guides to help those colouring with promarkers

I have over the last few weeks been running craft workshops for local  crafters, whilst doing that I have had a lot of conversations about my colouring and how and what I use, So i have been documenting my colouring in photo form to show the stages that I colour, here are just a few samples.

This image above is a woodware rubber stamp and is great for Christening or New baby cards

This image is from the very talented Sherri Baldy and her fabulous besties range which can be found on Etsy and she has a huge selection to choose from.

I'm Back :)

I'm back to the world of blogging now my password problem has been sorted. It has been a while I know :(
I have made note on my board to blog daily from today and show the world what I have been up to.

Today I have quite a few posts to do so here is the first one:

I recently bought the Trimcraft Curiosity range from a craft show and here is one of the creations I have made using the 6"x6" papers and the lace trims that match the set. I chopped the sentiment from one fo the papers as it fits perfectly. I finished the card off with paper flowers and added embellishments in keeping with the card into the middle of them.
See you all again soon.

Meljen's Challenge Blog entry - Sketch

This weeks challenge was using a Sketch layout. I decided to turn the sketch round so i could use this brilliant image I have coloured waiting for the perfect card to use it on.
I have coloured the lovely lady using my promarkers and in a variety of shades of pink. I wanted to create the idea of picture frame so used a sizzix die to cut the ornate frame and then embellished the frame using the sketch layout with pearl hearts, a butterfly and some paper flowers.
I hope the ladies over at Meljen designs blog it

Hummingbird Summery days Blog Challenge entry

Hi and welcome to my latest meljen designs blog entry. This week we were set the challenge of making a card with a "fancy font" theme.

Using Melissa's Hummingbird digi I have used lime greens and antique pink as the colour scheme.

I used a Great Impressions Rubber stamp of "Happy summer Days" sentiment as my fancy font.
I hope they like my entry

Meljen Designs Blog Challenge " Frames"

Here is my blog entry for the meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.co.uk challenge this week which was incorporate a frame into our cards whilst using one of her fab designs.
I have used the Scuba Bear image which inspired me to make a fish tank themed frame picture using other fishy stamps to embellish the card.
I have coloured all the images with a mixture of copics and promarker pens. Really pleased with the finished card and used various shades of blue buttons to act as bubbles to finish it off.
I hope they like it
