Good morning and welcome to my little part of the blogging world.
This week on Glitter N Sparkle Challenge we had a theme of Purple & Black and I was luckily enough to get given a Digital Delights image for this week's card and here is my creation.
Steampunk Tasha is the wonderful image that I chose to use and have coloured her with Letraset Promarkers.

Colours I have used are:
Skin - Blush, Saffron & Pastel Pink
Hair: Burnt Sienna & Blender pen
Wings: Plum preserve
Dress: Lilac & Purple - Plum preserve for the frills
Boots, goggles & Hat - Cool grey 5, Warm grey 4

I have used glossy accents on the monocle element of the image for add effect.

The card has been layered using Docrafts backing paper with steampunk elements on it, Kanban Art deco black pattern card stock, Ribbons from Meiflower crafts were tied in a criss-cross pattern. Finished off with a rubber stamped sentiment from Inkylicious .

I was lucky enough to get to choose an image from Morgan's Artworld and my choice just had to be The cat in the flower garden digital image.

Here is my creation with the theme of Something red, with Remembrance Day just around the
corner I decided to purely pick the flowers from the digi to colour as they look like poppies too.

The backing polka dot cardstock is from Anna Marie Designs and the black/grey pearl paper stock is from Crafty Queens Crafts from Facebook. The buttons are from my personal stash and the Polka dot ribbon is from Meiflower Ribbons.

I have zoomed in on one of the trio of images to explain the colours used.

Letraset Promarkers:
Tiny daisy like flowers were shaded with Lipstick red
Poppies - Berry red, Poppy Red & Cool Grey 5
Larger daisies - Ruby Red with Yellow centres.

Snowflakes & Reindeers

Good Afternoon from a rather windy West Midlands in the UK.

I have been busy with going to the NEC for the Christmas Hobbycrafts show ran by ICHF on Thursday and helping out at the Kanban Crafts Worksop with 'Kanban Keith' Smith and superstar demonstrator Sue Dinsdale as they worked on Afternoon Tea Kits with some of their fans which was fun.

Wow the show was great and certainly a lot of people about and everyone enjoying the free make & takes which were going on.

I had a great time learning some new skills including making this Watercolour landscape painting with Matthew Palmer Watercolour Artist

Not bad for a 45 minute lesson really, I have been practising at home and painted some more pictures now ready to stick on cards.

Now the reason for my post today is I was busy making cards yesterday and came across a stamp set by Kanban Crafts called Reindeer & Snowflakes which I decided to craft with and here is what I made:

This easel card is stamped on the background with the blacked out snowflake stamp from the set, stamped the medium sized clear reindeer and coloured him with Promarkers Tan & Praline.
The ribbon is from Meiflower crafts, The snowflake charm is from ebay and the gems and pearls are also from Aspire Crafts.co.uk

Now available on my Facebook page: Unicorn Crafts Handmade Cards & Accessories
