Unusual Cards

I've been having a play at making some unusual shaped cards this week and here are my attempts.
I have cut a slant out of the card and then folded the card into 4 panels. I have then folded them back on themselves and the decorated.
This is the inside of the first cover and I have used a Magnolia Fairytale princess image. The second section has been stuck down to give me a pocket which I have added a tag and stamped the very cute mini Magnolia fairy on to it.
Finally for the inside of the card for the messages to go I have finished it with a With love message and also a coloured Tilda Fairy.
I'm really pleased how it has come out and no one told me how to it as just made it all up as I went along.

Passion for Promarkers Entry

I've been using my promarkers all week on my new Magnolias and when my fairytale background arrived this morning I knew which challenge I was going to have a go at. Passion for Promarkers is a fab blog with loads of tips and ideas (http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/)

This weeks challange is to use the Sketch by Michele and also she has challenged us with making our own flowers. Here's the Sketch if you want to have a go yourself.

I've used Ruby & Poppy for the dress & head band. Poppy for the Rose. The background is coloured with cool grey 1, 3 & 4, Marsh, Olive, Grass, Lush & Apple Greens, I've used Slate on the roof of the tower and Silver on the stunning stairs.

Hopefully I've fulfilled the sketch & Extra tasks??? Fingers crossed

Pollycraft Monday Challenge Entry

Well I have been busy and got the bug for blog challenges again, here is my entry for the Fabulous Pollycraft Blog ( http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/)

The brief for this one was make your own flowers. Now I've spent all last night trying various different ways of doing this, I cut up foam, I punched, I ripped & I through a wobbly (lol) eventually I settled on these cute tiny flowers which I've layered and used gold brads to make the centre of the flowers. I used my embossing tool and my palm to get the rounded look. I've used a Pollycraft Digi Image and coloured her with promarkers.

Hopefully this will be ok for the DT's over at Pollycraft.

Good Morning. I've been looked through the blog challenges and decided to have a go at the Friday Sketchers Challenge. Here's my entry.....

I used docrafts Pink Parfait Papers on this project and then followed the sketch as below and finished with a pair of distressed circles and some ribbon and finally a very cute Forever friends image in the middle.

Heres the Sketch if you fancy having a go and also the blog where you can enter.

Hopefully my creation fits the sketch????
