Falling in love with Saturated Canary Digi Images

Oh How I love the Saturated Canary Digi Images, I came across them completely by chance a few months ago now, but when I'm struggling for inspiration I can always find something in Krista Smith's Catalogue of images that just brightens up my day. I have quite a collection of them now and i just love getting the Promarkers out and colouring them.
Here are just a few I have done just recently. They are waiting to be used on one of my projects but I just wanted to share them with you.

This is the Peanelope Image
This is the Umbrella Closed Image - I love this one

Finally this is the Mermaid image - I decided to colour her hair in a different colour than normal colours for an added effect.

Well until my next purchase which maybe be very soon, Hope you like them and if you fancy having a go yourself then pop along to Krista's shop and purchase some of her amazing designs  www.saturated-canary.myshopify.com.
Thanks

Saturated Canary Summer Card

The winter weather is creeping in with the dark foggy nights and nippy mornings, but I have been looking at summer holidays over the last few days and I was inspired to make this card.
I have used a Saturated Canary Digi Image by the very talented Krista Smith. I have coloured the image in using promarkers and layered papers from first edition range of gorgeous papers/card stock. (embossed Glitter floral used) Finishing off with paper flowers and leaves and a sentiment by Craftwork cards.
I love the SC images and have quite a collection now and they are proving very popular in my house.

Wow it has been a bit too long since I last updated my blog. whoops!
I've been very busy in the craft room creating cards for many of my customers all around the world.
Here's a peek at the wedding cards I'm working on today

A very vintage natural feel to this design, using woodware inspirational words, a Papermania Urban 'Beautiful - Folium' stamp. i have distressed the image and then cut into 3 panels and layered on top of natural twine which I have criss-crossed.

Off to get them finished and then on to the next project.

Horses & Tractors Themed Wedding card

I had a lovely request for this special card from a lady attending a double wedding and she wanted a very personal card for her friends. The brief was for Horses and Tractors. I think I've covered it pretty well.

Close up of the charms that I have used - Horse, Horseshoe and a Handmade with love charms. Also the mini Tractors coloured with the colour scheme using Promarkers.

The rubber stamp is a hobbyarts stamp, the horses and the wall are from a Woodware Clear magic stamp set. I have used a sage green polka dot ribbon and a memory box die cut.

Wedding Card Order

Here is a card I have made this week for a friend who wanted a large wedding card for her cousin. I have gone with the elegant black and white colour scheme but added a splash of red on the flowers. The image is a Saturated Canary Design by Krista Smith and she has been coloured using my Promarkers.
I have used flowers, a paper doilie, card candy and a rhinestone buckle for effects.

My friend also wanted something to put some money in so I made this little box and coordinated to match the card and left the blank panel for a message.

Wanted to show some of my other work

Here are few of my other projects. This one is a Notice board with a Magnolia Tilda coloured in the cool grey scale. Love this notice board it's my favourite.

This is a hardback notebook which I have decorated and used a coloured magnolia Tilda image which is done in promarkers. I have tied ribbons along the spin.

I love Penny Black rubber stamps and here is a card topper that I have made. I am forever colouring with my mountain of Promarkers and love this topper.

This was an experiment and it worked really sell so much I made loads and they have sold really well. I stamped the Magnolia Tilda on to shrink plastic and coloured in with my promarkers and then shrunk her and made her into a mobile phone charm. Really Sweet.

My next project I'm working on this week are some wooden door hangers, so watch this space.

Men's Raunchy Card! Slightly cheeky

Here is a card I have made for a young man's birthday, It's a bit more raunchy than my normal stuff but I like a challenge.

The image is a Kenny K image and I have coloured her in using Promarkers: Blush, Saffron & dusky pink for the skin, Berry & Poppy red, Honeycombe and apricot & orange also the cool grey scale.

He was very please with his card, it was simple but effective.

Thanks for looking and see you again soon

Love New Arrival Cards

I have been asked to make a couple of new arrival cards recently and I've loved doing them, I get so broody when new babies arrive.

I have used a A4 card and folded it long ways, so it's a huge long envelope lol. But great if you have a long name to fit on, luckily this one was a short name. I've cut the letters out of a scrapbook sheet I had and then stamped a Magnolia Pram and coloured in promarkers in shades of purple and then stamped a LOTV stamp of a teddy on a set of baby scales and coloured in promarkers in shades of pink & purple.

To finish I have printed the babies birth details. A great keepsake I think.

Thanks for looking

Here is my latest blog challenge entry for Passion for Promarkers

I have used a pull out tag idea for the card blank and then using the brief decorated with pink patterned papers. I have coloured a magnolia Tilda holding a birthday cake with Promarkers Pastel pink, dusky rose, antique pink and putty.

I then stamped a cupcake from a woodware stamp set and coloured that with Pink Carnation, Cerise, Sandstone & cinnamon promarkers.

I topped the cupcake with a pearl and added pink & white pearls to the sentiment.

To finish I used pink lace to tie around the oval and to finish the tags.

Easter Inspiration

This is just a quicky of some small cards I made this morning.

Great for Easter.

Vintage Steam Punk

Here is my first attempt at Vintage Steampunk themed cards and I'm quite pleased. I have mainly used Kanban backings (Cogs backing sheet & Acetate Paris sheet) and the embellishment is from a Kanban sheet of 6 stunning ladies. I distressed a scallop die cut to back the image and distressed the sentiment which I stamped from a Woodware stamp set I had.

Gift Bag Design

It is my friend Becky's birthday this weekend and I decided to decorate my own gift bag for her rather than pop to the shops to pick one up and here is the finished item.

I have used various backing papers and matted them up to create the layers and then added a chipboard letter B (for Becky, obviously), then a very cute Lili of the valley Die cut of mice and champagne. I finished the bag with a sentiment from a free gift from a magazine a got the other day, which just finished it off nicely.

More projects hopefully this evening whilst the sticky tape is flowing.

Thanks
